Founded by scenographer and installation artist. Carolin Wanitzek, the studio crafts immersive spatial and visual experiences — from initial concept to final realization. Carolin’s work spans exhibition design and art installations, atmospheric window displays, and store concepts. She intricately designs paper illustrations and objects, creates set designs and still life compositions, and develops packaging and brand identities that tell stories down to the finest detail. Her signature aesthetic—monochrome, minimalist, and graphically bold—shapes spaces and objects that captivate and inspire. Whether in public spaces, retail environments, or editorial contexts, the studio brings compelling, three-dimensional narratives to life. With a background in communication design (B.A.) and scenography (M.A.), and over 15 years of experience, Carolin’s work has been featured in digital media, print publications, and exhibitions. In addition to collaborating with national and international clients, she is co-founder of the furniture brand IN SUBSTANCE.

Lecturing

In addition to her commercial work Carolin is also active in design education, giving frequent talks and workshops. From 2017-2018 she was teaching paper constructions and set design at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. From 2019 to 2021 she was teaching design in space and environment at the University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management, Campus Frankfurt (a. M.). She currently teaches photography and media technology at the Academy for Communication in Karlsruhe.
